Generally used to quickly put up partition walls, plaster tiles are a amateur building material par excellence. Julien Carretero is using this readily available crude material to set up a domestic production chain. With any kind of household tool the tiles are to be shaped into moulds. Reestablishing an expert production method as domestic craft, Carretero combines skill with available material. With a group of designers he will collaboratively produce new objects using the Surrealist’s exquisite corpse method. Onomatopee will show the results of their labor.
