HOW IT WORKS
Skilled Riso printers, familiar with our A3 and A2 machines, are welcome to come and work independently at Onomatopee. The Riso workshop at our cultuurhuis is open to anyone who has passed one of our Onomatopee Riso workshop courses, or who has demonstrated proficiency.
To take a course, explore our available options above and through our Eventbrite page. Already an accomplished Riso printer? Demonstrate your skills so we can provide you with a pass. Please contact us for an appointment at riso@onomatopee.net.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING
> the files per colour in pdf
> your laptop
> a memory stick
> paper (unless you want to use ours)
COMMISSIONS
Rather than print yourself, you can also commission us to risoprint your work at an hourly rate of 40 euro ex costs of material.
Turnaround time for simple designs, such as posters, is one week from the moment the final files are delivered. Final files should be handed over on Monday 12:00 CET. High volume productions, rush jobs, and more complex commissions (such as books or pamphlets) are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
All files require specific preparation for Riso printing. If you’re not familiar with this process, we can support you. In that case, please allow an additional week (with file delivery also on Monday 12:00 CET) to accommodate the back‑and‑forth needed to prepare the files properly.
