Artists:
Andrea Faciu (RO) lives and works in Munich, Germany. Her installations, conceived in various media focus on notions such as locality, private memory, time and/or history. The intense poetical atmosphere, which particularizes the representational system of her work, is provoked by a particular usage of sign, language and speech. She has had solo and group exhibitions at Städtische Kunsthalle, Munich; Limerick City Gallery of Art, Ireland; Kunstbau/Städtische Galerie in Lenbachhaus, Munich; The Swedish Contemporary Art Foundation; Museum fuer Moderne Kunst, Frankfurt/Main; Kunsthalle Fridericianum, Kassel; MANIFESTA 5, San-Sebastian, Spania; 5th Cetinje Biennial, and the Romanian Pavilion at the 53rd Venice Biennale.
Speedism (DE/BE) is the duo Julian Friedauer, Germany, and Pieterjan Ginckels, Belgium. They work in the fields of architecture, architectural theory, visual arts, visual theory, urban tactics, imagineering, visual arts and scriptwriting. Speedism brings together diverse fields of influence, ranging from wikipedia, mythology, urban theory, geo-political analysis, technical restrictions, music, and so on. Speedism has presented work at Hfg, Karlsruhe; the International Architecture Biennale, Rotterdam; MAD architects, Beijing; Ludwig Forum, Aachen; Haus der Kunst, Munich; Storefront for Art and Architecture, New York; Chicago Museum of Contemporary Photography, Chicago; Bangkok World Film Festival, Bangkok; CNAP, Bordeaux; Graham Foundation, Chicago.
Allard van Hoorn (NL) is a performance, sound, and installation artist who creates work that examines our relationship with urban landscapes and systems of classification. He visually and acoustically translates the built environment to call to question our preconceived notions and perceptions of the spaces we inhabit. His works have been shown at institutions such as Blaffer Art Museum, Houston; Centro Centro, Madrid; Rosenthal CAC, Cincinnati; de Appel arts centre, Amsterdam; Storefront for Art and Architecture, NYC; Stedelijk Museum; Amsterdam; Gasworks, London; MoCA, Shanghai, and Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven. He also featured in the biennales of Istanbul (Art – 2013), Gwangju (Design – 2011) and Shenzhen (Urbanism and Architecture – 2013).

Curators:
Charlotte Van Buylaere (BE) is an independent curator and art critic. She holds an M.A. in Art History from Ghent University and is currently working as assistant curator at the Bucharest Biennale 7. She is also curator of the Belgian art space These Things Take Time and programmer at Art Cinema OFFoff. She worked as the former assistant of visual artist Renzo Martens and was assistant curator of the exhibition Drawing. The Bottom Line at S.M.A.K. Museum for Contemporary Art in Ghent. She publishes on a regular basis articles in art and Artlead journal.
Niels Van Tomme (BE) is a curator and writer working on the intersections of contemporary culture, politics, and aesthetics. His exhibitions and public programs are shown at venues such as The Kitchen (New York), Värmlands Museum (Karlstad), National Gallery of Art (Washington, DC), Contemporary Arts Center (New Orleans), Gallery 400 (Chicago), and Akademie der Künste (Berlin). Van Tomme is a Contributing Editor at Art Papers magazine, while his writings appear in a wide variety of publications, such as Art in America, Camera Austria, Afterimage, and The Wire. His books include Where Do We Migrate To? (2011), Visibility Machines: Harun Farocki and Trevor Paglen (2014), and Aesthetic Justice: Intersecting Artistic and Moral Perspectives (2015). He is the appointed curator of the Bucharest Biennale 7.
